Lionsgate has delayed the release for its upcoming inspirational drama Ordinary Angels, starring Hilary Swank.

Ordinary Angels

, starring Hilary Swank and Alan Ritchson. Originally scheduled for an October 13 theatrical release, the film has been pushed back to early next year and is now slated to arrive in theaters on February 23, 2024. Its previous release date would have set up Ordinary Angels directly against tough competition in the form of the highly-anticipated Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie. This won’t be the only film that moved its October release date in order to give way for the upcoming concert movie. This includes Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer and Lionsgate’s The Marsh King’s Daughter.

The film is directed by Jon Gunn from a screenplay written by Meg Tilly and Kelly Fremon Craig. Joining Swank and Ritchson are Nancy Travis, Tamala Jones, Amy Acker, Drew Powell, Skywalker Hughes, and Emily Mitchell. It is produced by Kingdom Story Company’s Kevin Downes, Jon Erwin, and Andrew Erwin, along with Roy Lee, ATO Pictures’ Dave Matthews, Stampede Ventures’ Jon Berg, Green Hummingbird Entertainment’s David Beal and Sarah Johnson, and Jonathan Dorfman.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
