, to be delivered to their doors by caring volunteers on Thanksgiving Day, along with a beautiful complete turkey dinner. Food & Friends home-delivers freshly prepared medically tailored meals to people with life-challenging illnesses and their dependents year-round, but Thanksgiving is a special tradition where they send a traditional feast to be shared with families.
Community members throughout the area with serious health challenges depend on Food & Friends for their meals, six days a week. Food & Friends is a leading member of the national Food Is Medicine Coalition, a network of direct-service nonprofits who provide medically tailored meals and nutrition therapy to adults and children living with serious illnesses. Food & Friends’ staff and volunteers expect to deliver more than 1.9 million meals in 2023.
Bistro Cacao will be open on Thanksgiving serving a 3-course special menu between 12pm-8pm starting at $65 pp excluding service fees and tax. Additionally, the To-Go Thanksgiving feast which includes a whole roasted 12-15 pound turkey, foie gras stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, green beans, and sweet potato puree will be available for online ordering for $240.
