Health will be a priority for the organization, an internal email states.Oracle is moving its data and artificial intelligence unit under its cloud business and making its health initiatives a major focus, an internal email shows.

The organization will report to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure senior vice president Greg Pavlik, the email states. The reorganization means Oracle is"consolidating all of the new data and AI initiatives back into OCI," according to an internal email. The email also suggested health will be a priority for the organization.

"I am personally very excited about having the opportunity to work with Greg again, and have an org focused on delivering the best data and AI offerings across Oracle and for our customers," Oracle Vice President of AI and data science services Elad Ziklik wrote in an email in late January. Ziklik also wrote that the organization will"absolutely continue to focus on healthcare, and this will remain one of our top priorities across the org." Indeed, Oracle Health and the company's
