Ariel Kelman, who spent nearly nine years in senior marketing roles at Amazon Web Services, has been poached by Oracle to become its new executive vice president and CMO. Kelma joined AWS as head of worldwide marketing in 2011 before becoming vice president of worldwide marketing in 2014. Multiple Oracle spokespeople were unavailable for comment, but Kelman’s LinkedIn page lists his title as EVP and CMO as of January 2020. The news was first reported today by
