has a new tablet on the way called the Oppo Pad 3. The tablet will make its initial debut in the Chinese market. It is currently unknown if the brand plans to introduce it outside of China as well.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed some key details about the Pad 3. As per a post made by DCS on Weibo, the Oppo Pad 3 will feature a 9,230mAh battery, which will likely be advertised as 9,500mAh. The tipster also adds that the tablet will offer a 3K LCD display which could be slightly larger than its predecessor. As for the internals, the tablet will feature a cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.For comparison, the Oppo Pad 2 comes with an 11.61-inch IPS LCD with 2800 x 2000 pixel resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The Pad 3 could likely bump up the display size to 12 inches.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be a significant improvement over the Dimensity 9000 chip in the Pad 2. The additional RAM might seem like overkill, however, it could be pretty useful while multitasking. The Oppo Pad 3 is expected to arrive sometime this month, so stay tuned for more.
