still needs to get any vaccine, but a growing body of data supports boosters, especially for particular populations., have already made plans for booster shots in older patients, health care workers and people with certain chronic conditions. Given the mounting evidence, it seems as if there should be little debate that immunocompromised patients are likely to need boosters, as well as patients over a certain age.
As the FDA advances access to boosters, it will be critical to have a conversation with your physician or other health care professional. There are potential risks, and it is worth discussing your situation before jumping to the conclusion that more vaccine is ideal.
