Opinion: Social media users don't need more highlight reels. It's time for influencers to get real. [Opinion]

Influencers who constantly post a lot of positive and happy pictures on social media might be to blame for that. I have personally seen a lot of that and I think, “Why can’t my life be like that?” It is a terrible thing to experience.

I know everyone’s life is not perfect and that is why I try not to compare myself to the influencer’s positive pictures when I’m feeling down, but it can be very hard. Only a small handful of influencers post what’s going on behind the scenes.
