Warren/Associated PressOn Tuesday Colorado may re-elect its Democratic governor, keep the Legislature blue, and reduce the state’s income tax for the second time in three years through a citizen-led ballot initiative. At the annual Steamboat Institute Freedom Conference in August 2021, the moderator asked Gov. Jared Polis what the state’s ideal income tax rate should be. “It should be zero,” he said.
