[OPINION] ICC case bilang banta sa alyansang Marcos-Duterte

Ito siguro ang nasa isip ni Presidente Ferdinand Marcos Jr. matapos ang desisyon ngBakit nga naman may ganitong problemang napunta sa kanya, at hindi naman siya sangkot.

Matapos ang majority decision ng Appeals Chamber ng ICC na nagbabasura sa apela ng gobyernong Marcos, tuloy na ang imbestigasyon ng ICC Prosecutor sa mga seryosong bintang kina Duterte, Bato, at iba pa.Malaking sakit sa ulo ito para kay Presidente Marcos. Hindi niya kailangan ang pabigat na ito mula kay Digong. Sa halip na makatulong, binibigyan pa siya ng sakit sa ulo sa pakikitungo ni Marcos sa ibang bansa na ang marami ay kasali sa ICC.

Puwedeng nagagawa ito ngayon, pero sakit ito ng ulo na hindi kailangan at puwedeng magbago. Puwede naman kasing hindi magpakaduwag ang matandang Duterte at si Bato, at harapin na lang nito ang kaso sa ICC, lalo na kung tiwala silang inosente sila sa mga bintang sa kanila. Pero dahil kilala naman natin bilang hambog at mayayabang sina Duterte at Bato – maliban pa sa duwag na nanalbahe ng bata, babae at matanda – hindi nila ito kayang gawin. Baog sila sa tapang.

Kung hindi seryoso ang mga magiging kaso laban kina Duterte, Bato, atbp, at magreresulta sa “lutong makaw” na desisyon, o gagawa ng kung anu-anong pag-tumbling ang prosecution at depensa alinsunod sa tradisyon ng bulok na sistema ng hustiya, lalo lang lalakas ang moral high ground ng ICC na gawin ang trabaho nila.Sakaling mag-isyu na ng warrant of arrest ang ICC laban kina Duterte, Bato, at iba pang respondents, liliit na nang husto ang mundo nila.
