OPINION: For decades, San Francisco and neighboring Silicon Valley have assumed they would remain the world’s top spot for technology and innovation, riding a revenue train that would never ever stop.

The future of downtown San Francisco is uncertain, but a tech trade organization aims to work with government and the tech community to solve local issues.
