This is a story about Cooper Christensen and Cara Duff and how they found each other.
Each day for years, Cooper would have new stories to share. The woman who sat down next to him on the bus on his way home from work and said hello. A friendly smile and exchange from the woman sitting next to him at Supercuts while waiting to get his haircut. The barista at Starbucks who remembered his name and added a smiley face to his cup. The list was endless.
Little did we know, a similar situation was taking place, practically around the corner! Cara’s sister Megan, also noticed that Cara was eager to find a partner and she, too, found Special Bridge, and created a profile for Cara. Cooper and Cara had their first date at the Pannikin Coffee & Tea in Encinitas on Feb. 13, 2019. Megan and I waited outside to give them space, though we kept peeking in, they smiled and giggled over lattes and cinnamon rolls. As their time came to a close, Cooper walked Cara out to Megan’s car, opened the door for her, and upon closing it, turned around and did a triumphant fist pump. Needless to say, the date was a success and led to many more.
