"Over 100 really, really bad individuals were locked up in this operation," Suffolk County Undersheriff Kevin Catalina said."That's 100 people who might not be victims of crimes, victims of shootings, victims of this horrible drug epidemic that we're facing." Marshal for the Eastern District Vincent DeMarco said 69 of the people arrested were part of gangs, including the Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings and MS-13.More than 200 officers participated in the operation, which took months of preparation.
