After three days of jury selection, the trial of Adam Coy is now underway, as opening statements started Thursday morning.
on Wednesday following 2 and a half days of questions, and they are hearing from both sides for the first time.
Coy and another officer were dispatched to the scene on Oberlin Drive for a "suspicious car." The prosecution says that Hill was waiting for a friend outside the home. When the defense gave their statements in court on Thursday, they said in Hill's other hand was a set of keys. They referred to those keys several times as "a glint of steel," saying it looked like the metal of what could have been a gun, and that Coy's actions were reasonable.
