The meeting provided an opportunity for residents to give their input on the evolving plan for the area’s growth and development. This open house is a critical step in the creation of the comprehensive 100-page plan, which will subsequently be submitted to the City Council for approval. The plan is one of several sub-area plans being developed as part of the city's larger Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted in 2016.
The Greater Airport Area Regional Center Plan aims to guide future development and land use in the region surrounding the San Antonio International Airport.
