Polis menahan 16 individu terlibat dengan dadah menerusi Op Selamat 19 di daerah ini bermula 18 Januari lalu hingga kelmarin.
Ketua Polis Daerah, Superintenden Mohd. Adli Mat Daud berkata, daripada jumlah tersebut 10 ditahan mengikut Seksyen 15 Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952 selepas didapati positif dadah.
“Pada masa yang sama, kita turut menangkap dua suspek berkait jenayah dan kes disiasat bawah Seksyen 457 Kanun Keseksaan serta Seksyen 380 Kanun Keseksaan,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di sini hari ini.
