Much like the original story, Zoro had his share of challenging fights in Netflix's One Piece Live-Action, one of which saw the destruction of his pride and two swords, but a social media post teased a new weapon he'll likely get in season 2. The first season faithfully adapted the beginning of Eiichiro Oda's beloved epic, and sneak peeks at the next season prove that the showrunners are continuing to stay close to One Piece's source material.
Before the post disappeared from Instagram, the image was shared on X by the Makenyu fan account akigawa_aono, with the katana unsheathed and lying across a dining table. Much like the sword Zoro receives in Loguetown, it features a black sheathe and gold ornate accent around the handle, exactly like the Yubashiri sword that becomes part of the Three Sword Style user's arsenal.

In the anime, the seedy owner of the sword shop attempts to scare off the green-haired shopper with intimidating tales of cursed swords, a story that piques the interest of the Straw Hat, whose sights are set on becoming the world's next greatest swordsman.
