Only 15.8% of SA population on medical aid as people prioritise day-to-day expenses
Pointing out vast health-related inequalities in South Africa, Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration Chana Pilane-Majake said a mere 15.8% of the South African population belonged to medical aid schemes as of 2022.
