With the 2022 election season coming up later this year, the Alaska Division of Elections is running a contest to get kids involved in the democratic process.
Students ages 5-13 from around the state submitted artwork for participation stickers in the 2022 election.The division received over 160 entries, and narrowed that number down to a manageable figure.
In each zone, the top 4 vote-getters in the first, or primary round of voting will move on to the general election. This second round will mimic ranked choice voting. The primary round of art voting ends on March 22nd, and the general election for the designs begins on March 29th.
