Corpus Christi police gave an update on missing New Braunfels native Caleb Harris on Monday, saying the department continues exhaustively investigating his disappearance.
While the public isn’t seeing evidence of foot searches, Collier says that there is a team of detectives working on the Harris case all day, every day. The team meets each day and organizes when credible tips are called in. The department’s drone team is called in to help with those searches. The Corpus Christi Police Department is treating Caleb’s disappearance as an active missing case, meaning there is no assumption of foul play, suicide, homicide, or a mental health crisis. The goal is to find Caleb alive.
Collier says investigators have knocked on the doors and interviewed tenants at Caleb’s off-campus apartment complex, as well as the complex adjacent to his along Ennis Joslin Drive. They’ve also requested surveillance camera footage, but couldn’t reveal if any has been given into evidence.
