Conversely, in Zetman, Jin started out with only the support of Goro - who like the teachers and mentors in My Hero Academia, hoped to teach him the skills he would need to use his powers to protect the vulnerable and make a positive difference in the world. But since they were on the run many of the themes and ideas of what a proper hero should be in Zetman were based on whatever was necessary to survive in a harsh world.
