Authorities are investigating after a Harris County Constable Deputy fired his weapon at a carjacking suspect.

According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Office, a constable deputy was pursing a stolen vehicle that was taken in a carjacking. During the foot chase, authorities said the suspect the deputy was chasing reaching into his waist to try to pull a gun, that's when the deputy fired his weapon at the suspect.

The suspect fled from the deputy into an apartment complex at 990 Cypress Station and was arrested without incident. The search continues for the two other suspects that were involved. This is a developing story. We'll keep you up-to-date with the very latest.
