CAMPBELL – A person was shot during an armed robbery at a Campbell camera store Wednesday morning, police said.
The robbery was reported just before 11 a.m. at San Jose Camera & Video in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard, said Campbell police spokesperson Letysia Moresco.The person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Moresco declined to say whether the person was an employee or a customer. An update on the person’s condition was not available.
Multiple suspects are being sought in connection with the case, said Moresco, adding that there is no immediate threat to the public. Moresco said the police department expects to release additional information about the case Thursday.Check back for updates.
