Saturday night and Sunday morning shootings in Indianapolis leave one person dead and several injured.
One person was killed and several others were injured in weekend incidents of gun violence in Indianapolis.
A person was fatally shot in the 1200 block of Redbrook Court in Indianapolis early Sunday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Also, early Sunday morning, police were investigating another incident in the 900 block of N. Delaware Street in which three people were shot.
On Saturday night, IMPD officers responded to a report of a walk-in person with a gunshot wound at IU Methodist Hospital, 1701 N. Senate Blvd. The victim was awake and breathing. Police believe the shooting might have occurred at 38th Street and Central Avenue.
