One-of-two Bugatti involved in apparent road-rage crash.
A Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse L'Or Rouge was seen in a low-speed, seemingly road rage-related crash in China. The Bugatti was towed away with minor damage after the incident.Dashcam footage shared from local television by YouTube account Will C shows the Bugatti encroaching on a BMW 2-Series in the right-hand lane. The BMW accelerates and stops abruptly, seemingly to both cut off the Bugatti and avoid a collision with the car in front.
No further lead-up to the crash is shown. The presence of a stopped LaFerrari in the Veyron's original lane suggests that the Veyron and the other seven-figure hypercar may have been driving together, but that does not necessarily indicate that either car was involved in aggressive lane changes like the one seen here before the crash actually occurred.
The Veyron involved is a Grand Sport Vitesse L'Or Rouge, one of just two of the special editions known to exist. It is a variant of the convertible Grand Sport Vitesse with a unique red-and-black livery, one that was heavily scraped in the crash. The damage appears to be only to the car's right-side bodywork, missing the more delicate right-front suspension corner.
