Every weekday the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a "Morning Meeting" livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here's a recap of Thursday's key moments. The S & P 500 moved higher, trying to break a three-session losing streak. Bonds were the difference Thursday as the recent rise in the 10-year Treasury yield took a pause. Mixed economic data didn't really sway expectations for the Fed to cut interest rates by another half-point before year-end.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell modestly, under pressure from declines in Club and Dow stock Honeywell following a mixed quarter and a disappointing sales outlook. Dover , another Club industrial name but not a Dow component, also dropped on mixed quarterly results.
