Shortly before 2 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of East 10th Street near its intersection with North Bosart Avenue and found two people shot.
One man was killed and at least two other people were injured Friday afternoon after a shooting inside an east side Indianapolis barbershop, according to police.
Police found one man who was pronounced dead inside the barbershop. They also found a woman injured by gunfire. She was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The second man injured in the shooting fled the barbershop to a nearby Chase Bank, Cook said. "There might have been other people inside that business,” Cook said. “We don't know how many people exactly were in there at the time of this incident. There might still be more people that may be injured, someone that left the scene. We ask them to come back, go to the hospital and seek medical attention if you need it, notify the police of what happened.”
