Alabama State Troopers say 54-year-old Tina McDonald of Eclectic was driving a car that was struck from behind by another car, driven by 40-year-old Margaret Liles of Montgomery. Investigators say McDonald’s car then hit a guardrail, while Liles’ car collided head-on into an SUV driven by 51-year-old Tammy Adams of Dadeville.
State troopers say McDonald was taken to Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, where she died. Liles and a 1-year-old passenger in her car were both injured and taken for medical treatment. In addition, Adams and a passenger with her, 77-year-old Catherine C. Adams of Montgomery, were injured and taken to Russell Medical Center for treatment.
