An early morning shooting left one woman injured and damaged several vehicles and apartments.
DOTHAN, Ala. -
Around 2 a.m. Dothan Police responded to a shots fired call at Westgate Village apartments. When they arrived, officers found two apartments and several cars with bullet holes in them. In one of the damaged apartments, they found a woman and two children. The woman, who had been sleeping in her upstairs bedroom, suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.She was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
According to Dothan Police, evidence at the scene showed shots were fired from two different locations.
