One dead, three injured in crash near Rickenbacker International Airport
One person was killed and three others were injured Friday morning in a motor vehicle crash nearThe crash was reported around 11:15 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Alum Creek Drive and Spiegel Drive in Madison Township and was reported to involve a four-door car and two tractor-trailers.
In a release on Friday afternoon, the sheriff's office reported that several witnesses said the Kia Optima was recklessly driving south on Alum Creek Drive. The Kia struck the back of the tractor-trailer, spinning out of control before striking another 2019 tractor-trailer going south on Alum Creek Drive. Witnesses said the Kia didn't yield and drove into the trailer's lanes of travel, the sheriff's office said.
