UPDATE: One person is dead after a shooting near Scottsdale and McDowell roads Saturday evening. Officials say the shooter is outstanding.

Officials say they were called to the area around 5:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, a victim was found.The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
