At least one dead in Mission Bay crash [Breaking]
One person was killed and another was injured Monday night in a rollover crash in the Mission Bay area, San Diego police said.
Details of the deadly wreck were not immediately available, but it happened about 10:30 p.m. on West Mission Bay Drive near Sea World Drive, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said. The person who died may have been a pedestrian, according to Buttle. Or the person may have been thrown from the wrecked car, according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department official.
The person, whose age and other identifying details were not immediately available, died at the scene.One other person was injured and taken by paramedics to a hospital, the fire official said. The extent and severity of that person’s injuries was not immediately known. Police shut down several roadways in the area, including Ingraham Street near West Mission Bay Drive.12:14 a.m. April 5, 2022:
