One victim is deceased, and other victims are being treated at local hospitals.
SARASOTA, Fla. - The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person is dead, and four others were injured after a shooting in the 3400 block of 17th street in Sarasota around 3:30AM Saturday morning.
Dozens of investigators and deputies combed the area around The Tallywood Centre all day Saturday piecing together crime scene evidence. Investigators haven’t released a motive in the case. Lt. Diana Darby with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said the other four victims were treated at local hospitals. There are no further updates on their conditions.
