Birmingham stabbings - One dead and seven injured with 'indiscriminate' killer on the run
ONE man was killed and seven people hurt with the killer on the run after a string of stabbings unfolded in Birmingham city centre overnight.
He said: “The events during the early hours of this morning are tragic, shocking and understandably frightening. Staff at Birmingham LGBT bar Eden locked customers inside as police swarmed the streets just after midnight with owner Cal Eden describing it as an "indiscriminate" attack. She told the station she had heard racial slurs during the incident, adding it was a "multicultural night" in the clubs near the Arcadia complex.
“My thanks also go to the ambulance and hospital staff who are working around the clock to help those who have been injured.”
