One MLB celebrity fan believes one National League team could be scrappy underdogs this postseason.
Not too many people would classify the Los Angeles Dodgers as an underdog but longtime fan Rob Lowe isn't everyone. The famous celebrity fan interviewed Michael Clair of MLB.com to discuss the Dodgers' upcoming battle with the postseason. He was asked specifically about all the injuries to their pitching staff and if he was worried about the playoffs. Lowe responded interestingly, calling Los Angeles a 'scrappy underdog'.'I mean, look at it.
Lowe believes, much like many others, that a title could put everything together for this group of players. Los Angeles is a World Series or bust team every year but with star Shohei Ohtani now on the roster, things increase even more so.'100 percent. I think Andrew Friedman and ownership would agree. You look at what's happened to us with injuries with the pitching. And as you know, the postseason is almost only about pitching.
