Sport climbing features three key disciplines — speed, boulder and lead — which each have their own skillsets and custom climbing walls. There are two canoe sports at the Olympics - canoe slalom and canoe sprint. Within each sport there are both kayak and canoe events. The events are named according to the number of people competing in each boat and the type of boat being used. For example, the men's K4 500m is a kayak race with four people in the boat.
