Nini is at drama school in Colorado, and though the two did officially get back together at the end of season one, it seems as though distance may be taking its toll on the couple. Their duet, "Even When/The Best Part" is played by Olivia on ukulele and Joshua on guitar, and each character sings it to the other's voicemail.
Of course, the thing on everyone's mind when watching the actors sing is not the future of Nini and Ricky , but the alleged IRL relationship between the two that led Olivia to pen herJoshua, for his part, thinks the interest in the inspiration behind the song is "kind of amusing" now. “I get it. I get why people are asking about that stuff — but it doesn't really get to me," he told. “I'm also just proud of her and the success that her song is having.
While we don't know what's going on between Olivia and Joshua the people, it looks like things are going to becrew put on a fabulousWill we get more sweet, yearning duets like "Even When/The Best Part?" We sure hope so!
