Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan had similar ideas for fashion inspired by lingerie as they strutted down the red carpet last night. The two musicians stood side-by-side on Friday, October 25, in show-stopping dresses for the world premiere of Rodrigo's GUTS World Tour movie. The two young artists, who have both become household names in such a short period of time, walked the purple carpet in Los Angeles for the film premiere.
Rodrigo opted for a vintage Christian Dior by John Galliano mermaid-shaped gown from 1998. The deep purple and black dress oozed 90s casual sexiness. She wore her hair long and wavy and paired the dress with earrings and a ring from Chopard. Roan's outfit was very on-brand for her — wearing a sheer, fire-engine red dress from young designer Sam Harper. The gown was adorned with deep red flowers and came with a pair of matching sheer gloves. Roan paired it with black mid-calf boots.
