Undefeated British fighter Daniel Dubois has been handed the chance to take Oleksandr Usyk's world champion status as they meet in Poland this Saturday night
Daniel Dubois will face the biggest night of his career on Saturday night, with the chance to become world champion in a fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
Dubois had been expected to step aside for Tyson Fury to face Usyk in a unification bout to become undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. However, with that fight having failed to be agreed, Dubois will get his chance in what is a fantastic opportunity for the 25-year-old British fighter. Should he defend his titles, Usyk is expected to be ordered to fight against Filip Hrgovic following his win against Demsey McLean earlier this month made him mandatory challenger for his IBF title. This would further delay a fight against Fury, with the WBC champion having opted to face former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in his next fight.When is Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois?
