After losing Rivaldo Fairweather, Luke Deal and Micah Riley, Auburn looks to add a tight end
Tight end is one of the Tigers' positions of need, and they will host Oklahoma transfer Bauer Sharp on a visit, according to multiple reports.A Dothan native, Sharp spent the 2024 season at Oklahoma after spending his first three seasons at Southeastern Louisiana. He was the Sooners' leading receiver this season, catching 42 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns. Against Auburn, Sharp had four receptions for 43 yards.
During his three seasons at Southeastern Louisiana, Sharp caught 40 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns after redshirting during his freshman season in 2021. He also rushed for 216 yards and five touchdowns at Southeastern Louisiana. Auburn tight ends Rivaldo Fairweather and Luke Deal took the bulk of the snaps in 2024, but both are out of eligibility.
