Oklahoma is preparing to execute a man after a state panel recommended his life be spared. Forty-six-year-old Tremane Wood is scheduled to receive a lethal injection Thursday at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. He is convicted of stabbing a migrant farmworker to death during a 2002 robbery.
