The attack, captured on a security surveillance camera outside of the temple, occurred at 4:14 a.m. on April 8, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts said in a Sean Patrick Palmer, 49, was allegedly captured on security video throwing a pipe bomb at The Satanic Temple on April 8, 2024, federal authorities said."He ignited a pipe bomb – a type of improvised explosive device or IED – threw it at TST's main entrance, and then ran away. Seconds later, the pipe bomb partially detonated causing minor fire and related damage to TST’s exterior," according to the U.S.
A partially detonated pipe bomb found outside The Satanic Temple on April 8, 2024, had nails taped to it, federal authorities said.Investigators also found a note left in a flower bed at the scene claiming the temple was bombed on orders from God, according the federal prosecutors.
