Holding a 4-2 lead in the second period, the Oilers went on the power play and got a “face-lift” from Hyman. Evan Bouchard hammered a slapshot from near the blue line while Hyman was in front of the net providing a screen in front of Kings goalie Phoenix Copley. Instead of just shielding Copley from the puck, Hyman redirected it into the net … thanks to his face.According to the SportsNet broadcast, Hyman came down “the celebration line first [after the goal], which is a great sign,” adding that it almost was an “almost a grazing blow.”Nick Bjugstad scored twice for the Oilers, who took a 3-2 series lead in the first-round playoff series.
