Former President Donald Trump is planning to visit East Palestine, Ohio, following a massive train derailment that caused an environmental crisis there.
A source close to Trump told Fox News Digital that he plans to visit with members of the community, adding that the former president has a strong relationship with the people of Ohio. Trump's announcement comes soon after the White House said President Joe Biden has no plans to visit the area.The Biden administration's actions relating to the East Palestine train derailment have come under harsh criticism, particularly the conduct of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
