Ohio State has already lined up a visit with the top linebacker in the transfer portal as Pittsburgh’s Rasheem Biles, a Columbus native, will visit OSU on Monday.
Former Pittsburgh linebacker Rasheem Biles, a second-team All-ACC selection this season, will visit Ohio State on Monday, according to multiple reports.Biles was one of the most productive linebackers in all of college football this season, tying for seventh in the nation with 17 tackles for loss.
He scored three defensive touchdowns in 2025, two on interceptions and one on a fumble return, and had 100 total tackles with 4.5 sacks, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles in just 10 games. He finished his three-year career at Pittsburgh with the best game of his career, recording 16 tackles with five tackles for loss, two sacks, a pass deflection and a forced fumble that he returned for a 23-yard touchdown in the Panthers’ Military Bowl loss to East Carolina.December 27, 2025 Should Ohio State land Biles, he’d project as a likely replacement for his former high school teammate Sonny Styles, who’s now exhausted his collegiate eligibility, as Ohio State’s starting Will linebacker. Even if Arvell Reese enters the NFL draft, Ohio State would have multiple candidates to start at linebacker next season already on the roster in Payton Pierce and Riley Pettijohn. Biles, however, would give the Buckeyes a proven commodity at linebacker who’s shown he can be a major playmaker, giving them good reason to make an all-out effort to bring Biles back to his hometown for his final year of collegiate eligibility.Ohio State Falls to No. 10 Miami, 24-14, in College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Cotton Bowl Presser Bullets: Ryan Day Will “Look At” Ohio State's Offensive Game Planning Structure After Failures vs. Miami, Says Bad First Half Cost Buckeyes
