COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s matchup in the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff is set, as Tennessee will head north to face the Buckeyes on Dec. 21.
As talked about all week, Tennessee’s defensive front has to be feeling strongly about this matchup. The Vols are starting three fifth-year linemen on defense, which doesn’t include third-year James Pearce Jr., who is one of the most talented edge rushers in the nation. Just two players were transfer portal additions for Ohio State, while just two for Tennessee came out of the portal.
