Ohio State is a 30-point favorite over Indiana with five days until the 2023 season opener in Bloomington.
Ohio State has defeated Indiana by 20 points or more in six of its last seven matchups, including a dominant 56-14 win in Columbus last season and a 54-7 beatdown the last time the Buckeyes traveled to Bloomington in 2021. Even more, Ohio State has defeated Indiana in 27 consecutive meetings dating back to 1988.
When Ohio State faces Indiana on Saturday, the Buckeyes will feature Kyle McCord or Devin Brown as their quarterback. The last time a first-year starting quarterback began the season under center was in 2021, when C.J. Stroud led Ohio State to a 45-31 win at Minnesota. Stroud completed 13 of 22 passes for 294 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
The Hoosiers have posted a 6-18 record in the past two seasons, including a 2-10 mark in 2021 and a 4-8 mark in 2022.
