Ohio State 's triumph in the national championship game was fueled by a stellar offensive performance, according to Pro Football Focus (PFF) analysis. Will Howard and Quinshon Judkins emerged as key contributors, accounting for all four of the Buckeyes' touchdowns. PFF graded every player who participated in the CFP national championship game.

Highlighting the top performers from Ohio State (excluding those with fewer than 10 snaps), Will Howard delivered one of his best performances in the season finale. His grade of 88.6 against Notre Dame was his second-highest as a Buckeye, trailing only his 90.5 grade against Northwestern at Wrigley Field. Howard's accuracy was exceptional, completing 17 out of 21 passes for an 81% completion percentage, setting a new Ohio State record for a national championship or bowl game. This surpassed Stroud's 80.4% performance against Utah in the 2022 Rose Bowl.Quinshon Judkins led all running backs in the CFP national championship game with a grade of 76.9. His 70-yard run to the Notre Dame 5-yard line late in the third quarter set up his game-high third touchdown. Judkins finished with 100 rushing yards, marking his third game this season breaking the century mark. While Judkins scored all the touchdowns, TreVeyon Henderson earned the highest running back grade (74.0) from PFF in the championship game. Henderson concluded the season with PFF's fifth-highest grade among all running backs with at least 100 snaps, registering an overall season grade of 87.9. He also provided a crucial block on Smith's memorable catch. Meanwhile, Will Kacmarek played a season-high 38 snaps against Notre Dame and achieved his second-highest grade from PFF for the season. He led all tight ends and offensive linemen with a grade of 71.6 in run blocking.
