Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day highlights Julian Sayin's focus on improving his rushing ability for the upcoming season. Additionally, a collection of other news stories are included, such as a fatal car crash, traffic delays due to a gas leak, and a business robbery.
Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin is coming off an efficient 2025 season, but Ohio State Head Coach Ryan Day says the biggest difference for Sayin this year won’t be his arm—it will be what he can do with his legs.
“We all know the ball comes out accurately, throwing the football," Day said. "But making an impact with his legs when appropriate, we know that's the X-factor that has to show up this year.” Day said he believes Sayin can take another step forward this season, comparing his development to progressing through a video game. “Back in the day, we used to have Mario Brothers," Day said. "You would go through the levels, and if you lost, you'd go back to level one. Now with the video games, you have to level up.""There's so many parts of my game that I think I can improve on and take that next step," Sayin said. "I need to be someone who takes our offense to the next level."One person is dead and another seriously injured after a crash late Thursday evening in Greenfield Township.Shortly after 9 p.m., troopers with the Ohio StateThe highways are how Jamey Rose makes a living, but when the wind picks up, he says that’s when the job really gets tough.Gas leak on US 23 in north Columbus causing traffic delays Traffic is backed up along US 23 near the Franklin County border after a gas leak shut down traffic in both directions. An unidentified man robbed a business early Monday morning.A black male wearing a black puffy jacket with a small red emblem entered and then robbed the busin
