The Buckeyes are represented on the Nagurski Trophy watch list by players from all three levels of their defense: Defensive end JT Tuimoloau, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg and safety Lathan Ransom. Ohio State is one of six schools with three defenders on the 94-player watch list along with Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan and Penn State.
Ohio State is represented on the watch list for the Outland Trophy, which is limited to offensive linemen and defensive tackles, by both of its returning starters at guard – Donovan Jackson and Matt Jones – as well as defensive tackle Mike Hall.
