Ohio State OL Zen Michalski is entering the transfer portal but is staying with the Buckeyes through the playoff run, perMichalski will have one year of eligibility remaining after this season. In four years with Ohio State, Michalski has appeared in 34 contests, mostly in special teams or as a backup. He made his only start for the Buckeyes as Ohio State’s left tackle against Nebraska this season following a season-ending injury to Josh Simmons.
Michalski was largely ineffective against the Cornhuskers and suffered an injury late in the game that sidelined him for the remainder of the regular season. He was a participant during theon Tuesday, indicating that he could be ready to return to action, but it’s unlikely Michalski sees playing time at tackle in the CFP unless further injury happens to either Donovan Jackson or Josh Fryar.
